Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled bookkeeper to join our team. This individual will manage financial records and perform bookkeeping tasks across a variety of industries, including fitness, real estate, SaaS, and consulting services. The ideal candidate must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including proficiency in advanced functions like vLookup, pivot tables, and data analysis. This position requires a high degree of organization, accuracy, and the ability to adapt to diverse business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple companies and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process invoices, payments, and payroll across different entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Use advanced spreadsheet functions to organize and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with business owners to optimize accounting and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable to maintain positive cash flow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including experience with vLookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and complex formulas.
  • Familiarity with managing financial operations for diverse industries such as fitness, real estate, SaaS, and consulting services.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
